Runbook

Runbook works like a build log, not a magazine. Something changes in the AI or automation stack, the desk wires it up, writes down the steps and the part that broke, and hands you the sheet. You get the setting to change, the order to do it in, and the honest cost. Then you go build it.

Editorial recommendations are separate from partner placements. A commission does not establish that a tool is suitable for your workflow.

How a build ships

• Know what was verified. Guides distinguish documented platform behavior from an executed test. Use the included test and rollback steps in your own environment before connecting a workflow to customers.
• Primary sources first. Tool coverage cites official documentation and pricing. We do not claim to have bought a plan or tested a feature unless the article documents that work.
• "The part that breaks" is mandatory. Every sheet keeps a section on where the build trips people up. A vendor cannot get it removed, softened, or moved below the fold.
• Numbers are checked and date-stamped. Prices, plan limits, and rollout dates get verified against primary sources before publish, then re-checked on a schedule. Stale figures get fixed, not defended.
• Second person, procedural. You should be able to follow a sheet with one hand on the keyboard. If a sentence does not help you build, it gets cut.

Research and corrections

AI tools assist research and drafting. An AI-generated statement is not evidence: factual claims need a linked source, calculations need visible assumptions, and uncertain conclusions should say what remains unknown. Publication is not a guarantee that every detail is correct. Check the dated sources before acting.

Significant corrections retain the original URL and include a dated note explaining what changed. Older news is a record of its publication date, not current setup advice.

How the money works

Banner ads carry this site, and only banners. Some of them are affiliate placements: buy a tool through one and the vendor pays the desk a commission while your price stays the same. The writing itself carries zero monetization. No affiliate links in a build, no sponsored steps, no paid verdicts. Which tool a sheet recommends and which banner runs beside it are decided by two different rules, and the banner never wins an argument. The affiliate disclosure has the full policy.

Corrections

Found a price that moved or a step that no longer matches the UI? Say so and it gets fixed fast, with the sheet re-stamped. The fastest way to reach the desk is replying to any dispatch.
